Sorry for the gap in posts. To be honest, life got busy. While I wish Fertility Socks was my job, it's not, it's my "hobby". Life took over for a bit, but I'm taking more control of my schedule and getting Fertility Socks back up to speed.
Some updates:
- I developed a huge backlog of requests when I was short socks. I have socks now, but...
- I am getting a PO Box and changing the way socks are donated.
- I need new printed literature with the new address on them
So, hang on a bit. If you requested socks, I am doing my best to get them to you ASAP, I promise. Us infertile girls are good at waiting, right?
XOXO,
Emily

I just sent in a request! This is the first I have heard of it and I think it is a wonderful idea. It brings some humor to a process that can be quite difficult. I find it hard to smile sometimes let alone laugh while on the journey to become a mom. These socks are a fantastic idea! I also read http://www.999reasonstolaugh.com/ which is a lot of humor about infertility... I hope to receive my sock in time to wear them at my transfer, hopefully become pregnant and then pay it forward by sending another hopeful Mom-In-Waiting some socks.
Thank you so much, I just received my socks in the mail this past Friday. The reason I'm writing is because when I originally requested a pair of socks, I think it was before my first IVF cycle back in March or April of 2010. Well, since then I've forgotten about the socks. I'm currently on my 3rd IVF Cycle. Well, my retrieval was FRIDAY and I got your socks on FRIDAY! How weird is that?? I wasn't able to wear them to the retrieval because we were already home from the procedure when the mail came, but I will certainly wear them for my transfer! I am taking this as a good omen!!! Thank you so much for the socks and I hope they bring me GOOD LUCK!!! This is a great organization :)
:-( It's been MONTHS, probably a year by now and I still haven't received my socks. I was told that the program was a little behind, but a year?? Oh well, this seemed like such a cool idea. :-(
This is so cute! Thank you for creating such a cute "support" system for those of us with infertility.
Cheers to new friends!!
I would love to help out if I can? This is a great idea. I am a stay at home mom (to a baby conceived with medical help, so I have been there), so I have some extra time on my hands. Let me know if I can help!
thanks
Ashley
Absolutesocks.com has all different types of socks. I am not affiliated with them in anyway just came across their website. For those that want to donate socks they have some specials like 12 pairs for $19.99.
I would love to help you with your service! I'm a homemaker, looking for volunteer opportunities to pass the time. I have the socks you sent me a few years back while we were in the midst of IVF treatments. They still make me smile! Thank you!!!
